pause. think. create. (a.k.a. powerful pauses)
In this talk, I show how to transform your life simply by taking just 10 minutes a day for yourself. Participants will learn how time away from connected devices with nothing more than a pencil and paper can positively impact their attitude, creativity and outlook on life. In an optional workshop, I illustrate how a Pause can truly make a difference by teaching participants a creative thinking technique they can use daily in their personal as well as work lives.
perspective: a look at work through a lens
“What’s true in photography is true in work.” I am a fine-art photographer and exhibit my work internationally This visually-rich keynote cleverly uses photography as a metaphor for work. Your audience will learn:
How a clear vision impacts a project from the outset
How to use the resources they have effectively
The need to deliver something meaningful in the end
11 1/2 ways to ignite your creativity
Based on the book of the same name, this high-impact, rapid fire keynote shares ideas - 11 1/2 of them, actually - that will ignite your group's creativity. Do the math: 11 1/2 ideas in under 30 minutes - it's a high-energy situation!
My workshops will stimulate innovation and creativity amongst your team members and put concepts into action. Plug me in to help however best fits your situation:
As a stand-alone engagement:
Bring me in for a ½-, 1-, or 2-day workshop facilitation to address a challenge you are wrestling with.
Working with you, I design the workshop in three acts and help your team uncover innovative solutions. We’ll look at the situation inside out – and then outside in – gain a fresh perspective from each participant and then lead the team in an actionable direction toward solving your strategic challenges.
As an expansion on a keynote:
After being inspired, attendees apply the lessons shared and learn a creative thinking technique that ignites their creativity. The techniques I teach – both creative and critical thinking techniques - are easy to learn, implement and use long after the workshop is over.
There are always “aha” moments in these workshops.
This structure works well in event situations where the keynote is followed by the workshop later in the day.
